2009 - 2010 BWLA Annual General Meeting

The 2009 - 2010 BWLA Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, 23rd October 2010 at York Fitness, York Barbell UK Ltd, York Way,Daventry, Northants NN11 4YB.

The Annual General Meeting will start at 11am and will be followed by a Conference to discuss matters such as the reorganisation and rebranding of BWLA, Coach/ Officials License Scheme, 2011 - 2012 Championship Programme, Gold Challenge, Sport England Volunteer Programme, Club Mark, the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, Preparations for Olympic Games and Paralympic Games 2012.

Commonwealth Games - Delhi India

London and South East Weightlifting Association would like to congratulate the following members on their respective selection for the Commonwealth games in Delhi India.

 

Women, Jo Calvino, Emily Godley, Zoe Smith,  Men, Halil Zorba, Jo Muskett, Ali Jawad for England, and Can Osmon for Cypris.  On the coaching side Andy Callard and Maggie Lyons, and refereeing Caroline Charles England, and Geoff Laws for Trinidad and Tobago.
